As a resident of River Park Apartments, you are eligible* to receive a RiverParkApt.com email address.

Please contact Larry Cleland to request your riverparkapt.com email address.

Once you have your address, you can check your riverparkapt.com email in one of two ways:

• Webmail: Do everything online via our "squirrelmail" web based interface.
• A mail client (such as outlook, mozilla, or eudora)

To set up your mail client for RiverParkApt.com, you will need a mail client. Common mail clients include:

• Microsoft's Outlook (part of the Office suite)
• Microsoft's Outlook Express (a scaled down, free version of Outlook, part of Internet Explorer)
• Qualcom's Eudora
• Netscape's Mail (part of the Netscape 7 browser)
• Mozilla's Mail (same as netscape, without advertisements)
• Apple's Mail.app (for macintosh OSX users)

Setting up your mail reader is different in each program, but in each, you'll need to know the same information:

• SMTP server: mail.riverparkapt.com
• POP server: mail.riverparkapt.com
• Username: Your_Username@riverparkapt.com (we'll give you your username when you sign up)
• Password: we'll give you a temporary password when you sign up, you'll need to change it
• Authentication is required to send mail.

*Eligibility hinges on responsible use of email. Install antivirus software, keep your operating system up-to-date, and do not open any files from anyone you do not know, no matter how tempting they may be, and do not open any files from anyone you DO know, unless you were expecting that specific file from them, without verifying with the sender before opening. Many viruses appear to come from people you know. If you send spam (unsolicited commercial email) from your riverparkapt.com account, your email address will be revoked and you may be subject to whatever fines our mail service provider charges for.
